The Summer Between Us

A single scholarship. A town that never lets go. And a friendship one breath away from becoming something more-or breaking forever.

Mila Torres and Theo Carver have been inseparable since childhood-two kids dreaming of escape from Crestwood, a coastal town with rusted hopes and sun-bleached regrets. For years, they made a pact: art school for her, music school for him, and a one-way ticket out together.

But when they both make the shortlist for the town's only full-ride scholarship, everything changes. What began as a shared dream becomes a high-stakes rivalry threatening to tear apart their future, their passion-and their bond. As summer unfolds in a haze of salt air, secrets, and growing tension, Mila and Theo must decide what matters more: ambition or each other.

Heartfelt, atmospheric, and emotionally charged, The Summer Between Us is a coming-of-age story about love, loyalty, and the price of chasing a way out.
