Thankyou to NetGalley and publisher Boldwood Books for this ARC. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.75 Coupling Up by Jo Lyons had me fully hooked. I went in expecting a cute, slightly chaotic reality TV-inspired read, and ended up absolutely inhaling it. If you love Love Island style drama, this delivers. The concept is fun, messy in the best way, and ridiculously easy to get hooked on. I told myself I’d read a few chapters… next thing I knew, I’d finished the whole thing in under 24 hours. Zero self-control, no regrets. It’s cozy, funny, and has that perfect balance of drama and heart. The humour actually landed (which isn’t always guaranteed), and the pacing kept things moving so I never got bored. It’s the kind of book you pick up for something “light and easy” and then suddenly you’re way too invested in everything going on. A well deserved 4.75 stars (rounded up to 5) — chaotic, addictive, and the perfect binge-read if you’re in the mood for reality TV vibes without the ads.
