The Assassin's Assassin

Daniel Edison

A captivating novel, "The Assassin's Assassin" by brilliant author Daniel Edison, is everything you would ever want in a novel--it is gripping, mysterious, and tackles a definitely remarkable theme.

Anne and her husband were to become the scourge of those who preyed on the weak and helpless. They brought tremendous terror to those whose activities brought great harm to societies or the world in general. They were to become greatly feared among drug lords, terrorists, and other evil beings.

There have been multiple attempts on their lives, both singularly and as a couple. But these attempts have failed, and those who have tried have paid dearly for the attempt. Our book's heroes, Anne and her husband, continue to live as hunters and exterminators of the worst among the worst.

Their work is not pretty, the stress at times is hard to bear, but the couple is able to finish what they start and see it through to the end.

While they have attempted to cover their tracks and have left few clues as to who they really are, that seems to have failed at some point, but they are still in the mix. They have not gone away for good and will likely return with vengeance.

In this compelling novel, Daniel Edison talks about an issue that not many authors have tackled. The Assassin's Assassin talks of protagonists who are willing to use all means to annihilate the evils on earth. These heroes are at a danger, threatening their own lives in pursuit of their targets.

But this book also poses a question: Does the end justify the means? This is a question which has long been debated. This novel, which was born out of Daniel Edison's literary prowess, will leave you questioning if it is right to kill for the common good.

Many people would consider Anna and her husband modern day heroes, saving the human population from the damages brought about by drugs and terrorism. But the protagonists themselves kill, not giving justice to their victims. Is it a crime to kill for the common good? Is it justifiable to take the life of any human being, regardless of whether or not he contributes positively to the society which he lives in?

This riveting novel, "The Assassin's Assassin" by Daniel Edison, is not only a novel about assassins. It is way more than that. It is a philosophical literary masterpiece that talks of moral issues in combating crime. It makes the readers evaluate their values and think--is it right to fight crime with crime? But whichever side the readers choose, probably the best that this book offers is that it gives its readers the opportunity to make a stand on whether or not the end justifies the means. It does not matter which side the reader chooses--what matters is that he is able to critically think things over and stand firm on his choice.

This book will leave you with a feeling of triumph of good over evil, of love between husband and wife, and will have you thinking about the dilemma between morality and the common good.
