Rising Sun

I'm not ready for this.' Orphaned at birth, all fifteen-year-old Kirin wanted was to belong to the world of magic, dragons, and warrior males she was raised in. But when she accidentally burns a fellow classmate, her destiny rises up to greet her—a destiny she wants no part in. Kirin is the Adkisha, the awaited hero, and it is her duty to save her beloved homeland from a reawakening evil. 'I've never seen anyone like her.' To escape from an arranged marriage, Prince Callian travels in self-imposed exile, seeking to aid the Adkisha. From the moment he first sees her, he's entranced. Kirin is beautiful, brilliant, and deadly with a blade. But even as he starts to fall for her, she seems to want nothing to do with him. The sun is rising. The hero has been born.
