Hodge Jr. was born and raised in the U.S. Virgin Islands, where he devoted his life to Law Enforcement.He joined the USVI Police Department, where his career in Forensic Science began. He testified as a fingerprint expert in both USVI district courts and at Her Majesty's Courts in the British Virgin Islands. He was a Forensic Science Instructor at the Police Academy for over twenty years. After retiring as a Detective Sergeant, he spent thirteen years as a U.S. Customs Inspector. Relocating to Florida, he was employed as a Fingerprint Analyst with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for three years. Alvin possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice.
