REM Sunshine

Katherine L. L. Holmes

Some of the poems in REM Sunshine were triggered by sleep dreams that seemed symbolic and lingered. Other poems came from sights or experiences that remained as unusual as dream in memory. The poems are about relationships, storms, days that surpass others in landscape, a few inspired from reading about Egyptology, and three poems about television. Some are experimental, connecting bursts of vision. Thirty-three of the fifty poems were published in literary journals.
