Lady of Light

William Shakespeare had his "dark lady" ensconced in unflattering terms in some of his sonnets that history affirms. "My Lady of Light" is a mystery known only to her and to me. My Lady of Light is my fantasy pretending what future may be. My fire of love burst into flame since the first day we had met. I have carried this torch deep in my heart and it is still burning yet. When you read these poems of my enchanted mind, you will know why the candle burns. The longing, the loving, the living alone will show you why my heart still yearns. I have seen her in dreams in the dark of the night appearing as though it were real. These poems will reflect what I know in my heart. I will share with you love that I feel. She is my Muse, My Soulmate, My Friend. She is my heart's inspiration. She is my life, my lover, my light, my destiny and fascination. My Lady of Light knows how I feel; she knows the reasons I'm fond. Our love traverses the universe. Always, is how we seal our bond. Bear witness yourself to a great love story scattered throughout the poems inhabiting this volume of romance and intrigue. Dream with me of an enchanting world far from the "madding crowd."
