Wild Darkness

As the soon-to-be nurse to the first English child born in the New World, Mary Catherine Taylor craves the freedom and adventure that founding a colony will bring. As the new settlement on Roanoke Island begins to come to life, it seems that Mary's dream has come true. But as Mary comes face-to-face with the freedom she so desperately craved, she also discovers something dark and wild within herself... and its Whispers grow stronger each and every day.Inspired the lost colony of Roanoke and the first short story/historical fantasy within The Awakened Universe, Wild Darkness challenges what we think we know about freedom, pain, death, and darkness.
