Arena
Taddeus is a young slave, suddenly thrust into a reinstated gladiatorial competition by the Holy Roman Emperor, Otto I, recently crowned by Pope John XII. This is no mere competition, however, as only one gladiator is to survive atil the end. The combat is only in place to hide a deeper sinister plot by many involved that could tear the very fabric of the Holy Roman Empire. Can Taddeus survive in both the gladiatorial and political arena?
