Dead Cert
At last Jess has her very own pony, Polly, a beautiful grey Arab. Life seems perfect, until Polly gets tetanus and nearly dies. As Polly recovers, Jess takes her for a ride and is thrown into the path of a runaway trailer, and it is Jess' friend, Beckie, confined to a wheelchair, who saves her.
