Hidden Truth

A short story of family ties underlaid with greed and exploitation. Kate seems to be the very helpful relative that anyone who loves family would hope for. In a world where advancement and wealth cannot be wished for by being around the home to watch over what goes on with the home staff. Chief Bello and his wife spends most of their time away from home to manage their family business and trusts the running of their home to Kate. She has a firm control and keeps her brother’s house in order while her own family degenerates into weak fragments, a consequence of her perpetual absence and neglect. Even though Lola appears unperturbed by her sister in law’s imposition, Kate did not escape Larry’s doubtful perception and her brother’s push back as her motive starts to seep through.
