Mushrooms Exposed
Mushrooms Exposed is a coffee table photo book created by award-winning tabletop photographer, Frank Spinelli. Biological facts, history, identification, and edibility are presented in easy-to-understand language and graphics. The mushrooms in the book were harvested by the photographer, an avid mycologist, and writer, from the forests surrounding his home in Woodstock, New York, and brought into his studio to be staged and photographed. Front surface mirrors, unique photo illustrations, high-end studio photography, and mycological knowledge make this visual experience unique.
