Ratings and reviews
Kudos to those doing a chapter a day of this book.. because for me this was a no. The book begins really thrilling, like oh my god what happened.. and that is what hooked me.. that made me want to keep going. But I soon found out this book was not for me. I DNF’d it the first time. But I kept thinking about it. So I had the Alexa app read it to me a second time. And I’m glad I did because afterward.. I still felt the same. So I knew I wasn’t rushing myself. It just was not for me. I was bored. There’s a lot of talking and planning and not a lot of action. Not enough scares to be like , heyyy that made my heart skip a beat. The characters were dull. The mystery itself was decent. The dialog needed work. And a lot of unanswered questions and ended abruptly.
