Butter
BUTTER is Marlon Green's debut novel that is full of drama and excitement! It is the story of Tamela, nicknamed Butter, a single mother of one who decides to move on with her life without her soul mate Daren. In doing so, she accepts the marriage proposal of a man who ends up being irresponsible, not romantic, verbally and emotionally abusive, and he doesn't get along with her young son. Butter tries to weather the storm that her new life style brings, but the drama is too much for her, and it only gets bigger and more serious. Her life is out of control, her family has no unity, and her marriage is a wreck. Daren, Butter's soul mate, is upset that she has moved on and decides to get wild with the single life. Women swarm to him because of his good looks and comforting personality, but soon the fun turns into life-threatening situations that become fatal. BUTTER is full of twists and turns, and the drama is thick enough to be cut with a knife. Readers are going to really love what they get with this selections.
