The Safe House
Samuel Adams, a North Georgia farm boy, comes home after six years in the military as a United States Army medic, wondering how well he will do trying to climb up on big farm equipment with a metal lower leg and foot due to stepping on an IED in Afghanistan. He may have to stay grounded, yet there would always be plenty to do on a 285-acre farm. He wondered how it would affect the rest of his life. Would he find a mate that was not freaked out by it? Having a metal foot and leg puts limits on your life. Samuel dreams twice of a beautiful young woman in the car with him? She was sleeping and injured. What could that mean? He would never hit a woman. Who was she? Why was she with him? It had to mean something. He head dreamed it twice; that had never happened to him before. Then, three days later, Samuel received a phone call from Nashville with an unusual request.
