Ephemeral
This book is a collection of landscape and macro images from the portfolios of Stéphane Hogue and Karen DeLorme. Some locations are iconic: Arches National Park, Antelope Canyon, White Sands National Park, to name a few. Other places are less well known, such as Chutes de Plaissance and Mont-Tremblant National Park, both located in Quebec, Canada. The definition of Ephemeral is "lasting a very short time". In using this term for the collection, we wanted to call attention to our fragile world. Beauty is all around us, not just in National Parks. Backyard forests, wetlands and streams, subjects of many photographs in this book, need protection, or they will be lost forever. This collection is intended for anyone who enjoys the beauty of nature. We hope this book will inspire you to explore the great outdoors and help safe guard it for future generations.
