⚠️Becareful with who you admire!⚠️is the lesson I got from this book. Ooh this story.. took me two tries to get through. Only because I didn’t know what was going on the first time. ( Happens A Lot ) the second time it got a little bit more clear. The Story: being held captive for creative purposes. But with paranormal/monsters. Wasn’t as gory as I thought it was going to be. What I’m not clear on is how the monsters/paranormal happenings were happening or showing up.. or how the monsters got there. Told in two/multiple POVs. Main Characters: Lexi- a wannabe book influencer who just wants to meet her favorite author. But something happens and it turns out so much worse. Will she survive? Jacob Skull or was it Skulz - said author. Has something up his sleeve. He is full of scary surprises. And more killer stories he wants to write in mind. Amanda- Lexi’s bff. Tries to help. But ultimately ends up trying to survive as well. ( I really liked this character ). With no one on her side, law enforcement acting strange. Will she win her fight and survive and save her best friend? All in all, this left so many questions, that I don’t remember being answered. It wasn’t as scary as I thought it was going to be. I give it a 3.25/5 ⭐️s .
