Book 4: Reality Bites. Since the day Eve was kidnapped, her world was turned upside down. Her response to the trauma was to dismiss it as being a terrible dream, a horrible nightmare. Her mind was unable to process the pain and suffering, so she decided that none of it wasn’t real. Up until a short trip with May to gather her possessions outside of the Moon Valley Pack’s land, she had felt secure in her dissociative state. Then, it all started crashing in. She had really been kidnapped, she had been tortured, and she was altered. The starvation, the bone penetrating cold all of it was real. The very real wolf inside her was now pushing out of her, trying to protect her as her panic rose, in the only way the wolf knew how. Shift then run.
