Bone and Cane
During the 1997 Election, Labour MP Sarah Bone campaigns for Ed Clark to be released from prison, convinced he was wrongly accused of murder. But, at the party to celebrate his freedom, Ed reveals his true nature and Sarah sees she may have made a terrible mistake. She set him free. Desperate to find out the truth, Sarah joins forces with Nick Cane, an ex-boyfriend just released from prison, and they begin their own investigation into Ed Clark's murky background. Soon they find that they've gone too deep. They were wrong. Now Nick risks going back inside and Sarah could lose her seat in the General Election. And Ed Clark is about to get away, again.
