In our darkest moments poetry has the ability to comfort and support us, whether it is through reading, writing or reciting it. I have spent a lifetime doing all three. Poetry can bring colour into our lives even when it feels like magic has vanished from the world forever. Written over a number of decades, these poems are a snapshot of my life; they are my truth - my colours in the darkness.
