ONYX: The most amazing dog that ever lived. About the Author I always dreamed of writing a children's book, but it was just that - a dream - until Onyx came into our lives and inspired us with the way she fit so perfectly into our family. We shared so much with her, just as if she were a human being. All the years we had her she had a special relationship with our sons, our friends, and our relatives. Besides having empathy for other animals, we knew Onyx understood us. The idea of writing this book was so that everybody could have a little of the spirit of Onyx in their homes, in their minds, and especially in their hearts. I wanted to share some of the happiness we felt from having her in our lives. I hope you enjoy reading this book to your children.
