The Ringmaster
Sam Di Paolo is a federal informant, a twisted outlaw whose sole passion is to effectuate the ruin of the law firm that dismissed him. Skillfully weaving a plan to intrigue federal attorneys, he secures privileged material, altering it to suit the occasion. He embarks on a crusade to pursue a conviction of the firm, specialists in personal injury (negligence) and the personnel whom Sam feels contributed to his dismissal. Ross Jerome, the avid young prosecutor, seizes upon the opportunity to rid the legal profession of those he opines would bastardize the law. Samas hatred of Connie Merolla, the office administrator, is particularly displayed in his creative handling of disclosures concerning her as well as the skilled Frank Barolo and successful Mike Morris, with Sam able and willing to act as a tool of the prosecutoras investigating staff. An accurate insight into the mechanics of the negligence (personal injury) business and a foray into a womenas prison pepper the tale. The circus arena is round and the Ringmaster runs the course.
