Karin's Cloak

A magical barrier called 'Karin's Cloak' has separated the three realms from the under-realm for over five hundred years. But the magic is weakening, and Prime Mage Emeric does not know why. Shortly after dispatching a lesser wizard to investigate the cause, the Prime Mage is defeated in a rebellion of wizards using dark magic. Anvar citadel, home to the council of wizards, is destroyed. As Andaril pursues the cause of the weakening of Karin's Cloak, he discovers plots are afoot within the realms as each scheme to rule the others. With the help of a little mist fairy, and the min-warden of a minor village who carries an unusual sword, Andaril intends to stop Karin's Cloak from weakening and save the realms from the battle for mastery that is brewing.
