Sam of Westport

Twenty years have passed since the end of Sam of Delorre. Sam has settled into a life as a prosperous tailor. He and his wife raised two children, but she died several years ago in spite of Sam's best efforts to save her. His grief has gradually been resolving, but he still seems to be stuck at home. He has been running occasional errands for Mordoc, his magickal guide and mentor, but he remains mostly disconnected from the magickal side of his being.Mordoc desperately needs Sam to attend to a wild magicker of growing strength in the east, who is preparing to attack Westport itself. He has sent others out, many of whom have not returned, and Mordoc dares not to go after that magicker himself. Mordoc believes Sam is the only living magicker who can defeat this dangerous wild magicker and hopes he can get Sam moving in time to save Westport.
