Why Her, Not Me?: Finding Why It's Always Been You
The first time I compared myself to another young woman was around the middle school, not knowing how much it would affect me in my adult life. Understanding that in order to walk in my own purpose in life and not feel like life is a race was for me to figure out who I am on my own. Comparing my life to another woman was something that I did well for a while until I started looking in the mirror and figured out who I wanted to be for myself. I realized in that time frame of self discovery I no longer looked at other women to show me what that looked like, but I learned I just had to figure things out on my own. There were many times I felt like I wouldn't get to a space where another woman was, or that it was even possible for me until I took full inventory over my life and believed that anything that I put work into would be possible for me. When I started my business Love is Beauty Program it was the beginning of the best chapter in my life, and my story continues to be written.
To the young women around the world this book is to tell you that YOU ARE ENOUGH! No one has the power to take that away from you unless you allow them too.
