Hilly Dreams
Hilly Dreams is a fictionalised autobiography of Aboi, hailing from a remote corner of India i.e North East India. While look East policy has become one of the most well-discussed topics in India with regards to North East India, this book presents a different perspective of looking from the East. How does it actually feel for a North Eastern guy who leaves his home and went to Delhi to fulfill his dream of becoming an IAS officer, only to realise his dream is something else. The turn of events in Aboi's life from being an IAS aspirant to a politician and later a rebel leader is intriguing and very absorbing. The book is for people who love reading simple writing, for it is written in the simplest form of writing. For those who loathe simple writings, this book will make you fall in love with simple writings.
