Kenji Mizoguchi
Cinéaste japonais, issu d'un milieu modeste, K. Mizoguchi (1898-1956) a débuté sa carrière en tant qu'acteur puis assistant-réalisateur. il est l'auteur d'une centaine de films, parmi lesquels : Les contes de la lune vague après la pluie, Les musiciens de Gion, L'intendant Sansho, Les amants crucifiés.
