The Last Feather - A Dodo's Story
The Last Feather: A Dodo Story by Brinda Phokeerdass
In the heart of a hidden island, beneath the whispering leaves and the gaze of ancient trees, a tiny chick named Doona hatches into a world full of wonder-and danger.
She is one of the last dodos.
As explorers known only as the Tall-Ones return to the island, Doona and her flock must flee, hide, and outsmart their pursuers. Along the way, she discovers the secrets of her ancestors, the strength of her friends, and the power of stories to protect what matters most.
Told in Doona's own voice, The Last Feather is a moving tale of survival, hope, and legacy-perfect for readers who believe that even the quietest creatures can change the world.
