The Story Seeker

Beloved cleaner Janice returns--alongside her boyfriend Euan, their dog Decius, and ninety-four-year-old client-turned-friend Mrs. B--in the eagerly awaited sequel to Sally Page's bestselling The Keeper of Stories. Some secrets are worth keeping. Others demand to be told. Mrs. B's approaching the end of her life and Janice suspects there is more of Mrs. B's story to share--something is missing from the story, time is running out, and something is off. She's more short tempered and feisty than normal and Janice resolves to find out what's going on. Apparently on a whim, Mrs. B convinces Janice to steal a van and the two set off on a journey to Scotland where they discover a long lost Romanov family jewel that reveals more about Mrs. B's life as an evacuee at Linwood House during WWII. But when Mrs. B suffers a stroke, Janice decides it's time to write her own story. This heartwarming novel, full of humor and love, comes full circle, leaving the reader uplifted and moved by characters only Sally Page could create.
