“Let me tell ya. Them crackas came through our village like thieves in the night, snatchin’ us up from our sleep. They carried knives and chains, and screamed words from their language, but we ain’t know what that was; their language. Some of the village people tried to defend the village, but they was killed the minute they raised their hands. Them crackas had our house surrounded. It was a home invasion of sorts, but they ain’t steal our belongin’s, or our money. Naw. They stole us.” ~Adanya Wasswa
