The Inheritance
When children's author Judy Crosby inherits her grandmother's Colonial farmhouse, she returns to a town that believes her responsible for the worst event in its recent history. Will writing about it help her uncover the truth in a decade old mystery? Will the old journal she finds answer her spiritual questions?
Contractor Adam Cabot lives with the ghosts of his own past. His faith has helped him through difficult times, but can he help Judy through hers? Can Judy help Adam put to rest his own feelings of guilt in the losses of his life?
When the book Judy hopes will separate truth from lies is released, the attacks on her home and family escalate. Can she discover who is responsible before more damage is done or another life is lost? Will the town ever recognize Judy as another victim of the mystery they've been unable to put to rest?
