Boglight

Boglight

by Brinda Phokeerdass

A grieving biologist. A cursed bog. A cure born of sacrifice.

When Dr. Samuel Vance ventures into the haunted marshland of Blackwater Bog to investigate a plant that defies science, he believes he's chasing a miracle-the same one his sister sought before she vanished. But something ancient stirs beneath the moss.

The locals speak of a boy who chose fire, of a witch who gave too much, of a hunger that remembers. As reality bends and the bog drinks deeper, Samuel must confront his own past-and decide whether he is the next to be chosen.

From Brinda Phokeerdass comes a chilling blend of folk horror, science fiction, and mythic dread, where nature is alive, memory is a trap, and the truth has roots deeper than bone.
