Too Many Tomorrows
Julia realised as soon as her husband, Daniel, saw his new born twin daughters for the first time, that she had made the biggest mistake in her life when she married him. She sometimes, in the past, had worried over his mental state but now she knew for certain when she saw the look in his eyes as she proudly introduced his tiny baby daughters to him. It was one of disgust. Little did she know that the only reason he had married her was in the belief that she would present him with a son and now he had to think of a way of ridding himself of these two baby girls. They would not get in the way of the life he planned for himself and his mother, a mother who had spent many years in a psychiatric hospital. And when The Second World War started Daniels plans seemed to be perfect.
