Robin Hood meets Peter Pan. Growing up proves quite an adventure as childhood best friends, Nick and Andra, with the help of a misfit band, navigate fighting pirates, falling in love, and being outlaws with a purpose.

Andra spent her childhood in Brookvale Shire, playing pretend and making up pirate stories with her best friend, Nick. But as it turns out, the pirates aren't so pretend. There is a very real threat facing the kingdom of Brookvale. Andra is swept right into the heart of conspiracy when her father becomes the Duke of Erelade City, and she is engaged to a young man she's barely met. But then, everything is turned upside down again when she's reunited with Nick. A lot's changed since their Shire days- Nick is now handsome, charming . . . and leading a band of outlaws.
