The Scars

Three teenagers, Sean, Kelly and Steve, all have one thing in common; painful scars upon their skin and in their hearts. They share with each other the emotional burdens which created the scars they now bear. These are their personal journeys through crippling depression, childhood trauma, suicidal tendencies, and abuse. Exposing their scars to one another, the teens realize their own paths to healing and rediscovering their self-worth. In the end, their scars are no longer battle wounds to remind them of their past burdens. They have become badges of honor and the symbols that provide them with the strength and courage to keep going.
