The Lion and The Mouse

Designed for beginner readers, this is a creative spin on a traditional tale. This bright and clear booklet is sized right, and encourages the reader to continue the adventure with their own creative sequel. From the author: My entire career in the magical world of imagination has always been and continues to be pure joy! As it has often been said "variety is the spice of life" and that spice has sure filled my life. The first time i held a crayon and paper in my hands at age three I knew my destiny! My past and now out of print works included designing paper dolls for Teddy Bear Review (No longer in business) and Dover Publishing Co. Illustrating the entire The Night Before Christmas book and Cover for for The Night Before Christmas Coloring Book, and illustrating the entire Rumplestiltskin book for Whitman Publishing Co. Currently one of my favorite recent projects was illustrating the cover of Herbie Pilato's book The Twelve Best Secrets of Christmas. My fine art realism paintings in acrylic on gesso board, colored pencil work and ink drawings on Strathmore paper have won top awards in many art exhibitions and are in the collections of many who enjoy my art worldwide. My current focus is writing and illustrating fun books for children that amuse but also teach important values: to be kind, thoughtful, loving and enjoy giving and doing for others. Both “Big Fat Black Birds Spots” and “The Lion and The Mouse” are great Christmas stocking stuff choices for children three to ten year olds.
