Much, much more.Pursued by the girl's captors, Jacob and Maria try to protect Lila, but they are overwhelmed in a terrible battle between supernatural forces. Maria is killed. Jacob and the girl escapes . . . but only briefly.Lila vanishes. Jacob is told who he really is.
