This is a story about a young girl named Brigid, the fourth book in this series.

After Brigid reads how Aoife had to flee to the mountains, running away and hiding in caves when people found out about her magic, Brigid trembles. Aoife was not safe until she found a place deep in the woods, hidden from the world. Even her family abandoned her.
