As a young woman in the Church, I noticed that the Church community treated me differently than the Lord Jesus did. After teaching school and college, I pastored with my husband for 8 years, and encountered the harsh realities of being a woman leader. Then, both my husband and I returned to graduate studies where I began asking questions and finding answers. The Bible accurately interpreted teaches the equality of men and women in terms of substance and value, privilege and responsibility, function and authority in all areas of life and leadership, ministry and marriage. This is my story. This is my journey.
