Psalms for the Persecuted: A Devotional: Book One (Psalms for the Persecuted: 90 Days of Divine Protection)

Persecution is in the eye of persecuted. A divorce, a boss trying to get you fired, or a lawsuit can all feel like persecution. Bible believers know all the works of Satan are persecution.

For Nick Walters, persecution was in the form of prosecution for crimes he did not commit. After the shock of being indicted by a federal grand jury, he poured over and journaled from all 150 Psalms from the Old Testament to seek out those written with the persecuted in mind.

He now shares those journal entries in three 30-day devotional books taken from the 30 Psalms that speak of being protected by God when, as David often wrote, “My enemies surround me on every side.” Knowing that God is your Fortress, your Refuge, your Rock, and, most importantly, your Deliverer makes all the difference when you are in the midst of persecution.
