Catherine McCullum sets off from her hometown of Lewes, Delaware to meet her Father and begin their new life on a cattle ranch in Buena Vista, New Mexico. Catherine learns of her Father's death before her arrival and must decide to remain in New Mexico or return to the family home in Delaware.
