The Intercession Tales Dragon Dope and Dragon Dung
Dragon Dope and Dragon Dung is first and foremost a fast-moving fantasy, but it is also a novel that creates a satirical vision of the shenanigans of, primarily, the World Health Organisation and its jaundiced stance on e cigarette vaping. The author faced real difficulties here because satire involves the use of animals as characters and a satirical account should exaggerate the behaviours of its target - In the case of the World health Organisation and those involved with this organisation, it is impossible to create something in fiction to appear more ridiculous than what in reality exists. As for animals, this was easier - aliens take their place. There is no over-emphasis of description of character or setting in this account. The novel is a creation satire aside, a story which attempts to take the reader away from present day stresses and realities. If this happens the novel has been successful.
