The Tempest

Lady Tempest Brodie is fearless, impulsive and always does exactly as she pleases--whether that be taming wild horses, riding bareback across the moors, or falling in love with the quiet yet compelling stranger sleeping in the loft above the stables. But despite the desire burning in her heart, she is coming to realize there are some conventions even she cannot flout. Caleb, a bounty hunter with a past, is not surprised when he falls for the beautiful, courageous--albeit reckless--Lady Tempest. But what he doesn't count on is his admiration being returned. Knowing he has no right to a lady's heart, he plans to leave Castle Bron. But when the laird and lady of the keep ask him to stay on to protect Tempest while they are away, he has no choice but to remain; that is, until he realizes that the greatest threat to her safety ... is himself.
