Journey's End

The Planets show the evidence of a massive destructive force that periodically wreaks havoc on the Solar System; a missing fifth planet, a planet stripped of its atmosphere, elongated orbits. What caused the fifth planet to never form? Some unknown situation prevented or disrupted the planet formation process. Perhaps the planet actually formed was torn apart. Millions perhaps billions of years later, something happened to Mars. Mars shows signs of having been covered with water. It clearly has a damaged magnetic field. What caused this damage? Earth's geological history has repeated major extinction occurrences. What caused this roughly two hundred million year destruction cycle? What if Einstein was wrong about the life expectancy of small black holes? What if a few have survived? What kind of havoc might one cause for a solar system that periodically went through its range of influence? Would such an interaction explain the damage to our solar system?
