If a father is given the opportunity to see his son become a man, together they can become one of the most powerful forces known to mankind. A father and son can cause positive changes within their community and the world. Most importantly, a father and son can become positive role models for the generations of young men that will come up in their family.

What you just read may sound unreal because, as men, you don't see a father and son working together. I feel that in most cases, a father and son tolerate each other because they are father and son. A father and son want their won independence. In their search for manhood, a father and son can lose each other.

Our society will suffer because a father and son don't know their own importance. Women will raise children on their own, babies will have babies and young men will go to jail for stupid reasons.

If a father and son don't come together as men, they both will live their lives out feeling that something is missing. A father and son can have a good life without truly knowing each other as men. But there will always be that word if. If I had known more about my father or if I had known more about my son, I would have done things differently.

There is no formula that one can give a son that will help him know his father better or help a father know his son better. In order for a father and son to know more about each other they must look inside themselves for the answer. Every man will find a different answer.
