The Unwanted
A world of trouble drops on Philip Crowe and John Bolton when hard times force Crowe to take a musician's job in Atlantic City, leaving Bolton to manage the cranberry farm in the desolate pinelands. On the first night in the city, one of Crowe's best friends begs him to check on his sister who has checked herself into a questionable drug rehabilitation center, which lies hidden in the pines very near Crowe's farm. At almost the same time, a sworn enemy of Bolton's, Albert Scatts, commits a murder and is hidden in one of the Great Swamp's terrifying caves by his crazed grandmother, Alvira, matriarch of the infamous Scatts clan. Trouble seems to descend on Crowe and Bolton like a tsunami, bringing with it a gigantic mutant, kidnappers, wolves, raging forest fires and above all a mysteriously evil force that resides in the ominous caves of the Great Swamp.
