The book tells how two lovers that where apart came together just to share a romantic moment together. Rebecca which already is married has not being enjoying the romantic aspect so it brought in thinking and when her formal lover came she recalled all the time they spent. she succumb to her feelings and gave it a chance. Later she realized going with both relationship has being causing not just her marriage but her life, so she let her formal relationship go and lives with her husband to restored there marriage.
