Just finished the book ( May 5th, 2026 at 8:30am ) and just now started the movie. And it stars my Downton Abbey hottie Robert James-Collier as Hutch!! 🥰. But the book starts out creepy and left me scared out of my mind. Loved it. Scary things start happening right away. Left me drained and holding my breath. The characters: Luke, Hutch, Dom and Phil are reuniting after years of being apart. Hiking through Scandinavian Forrest as chance to reconnect doesn’t go as planned. Phil and Dom are ill prepared. Hutch tries to neutralise the situation. And Luke just wants to push through. But braving a short cut isn’t at all the worst thing to happen. Stumbling across a creepy cabin snd A Swedish Death Metal Band who may or may not be trying to summon a demon. Something in the woods is following them. Will any of them make it out alive? The book and the movie are excellent, but are different in their own way.
