Bad Blood
Rona decided that her people could just not go on like this anymore. The problem with being at war as long as they had been was that they were running out of men, which meant women and children were starting to go hungry, and hungry people were unhappy people, and unhappy people overthrew their monarchs. That was not something she was willing to allow to happen. Which is exactly why she was now here in this falling down hut, waiting for her enemy, waiting to strike a bargain which would bring an end to the war, and if she was lucky, total control to her. She just had to maintain control of Wren, and through her control Osmin, and with Osmin under Wren's thumb Ebben would be easily dealt with, and then it would all be hers.
