A Child's World: Photographs and Poems
When word got around that Robert Hamblin was writing poems about the photographs of children that proud parents and grandparents were sending him, he was deluged with additional photographs. So he wrote more poems about more children. When the number reached fifty-four, he stopped and made this book. Read it and be amused, informed, and inspired by both the pictures and the words. As Hamblin says, “Children bring gifts. They give us eyes to see, ears to hear. They live in the here and now, but take us into our past, into their future. They save us from ourselves. Unless we become as children, we will never know heaven, or earth.”
